2011 Hopkinton Rotary Community Art Calendar
Calling All Artists
“Anybody seen a Barn round hear bouts”! The Rotary Club of Hopkinton, NH is soliciting artists to submit their artwork for the 2011 Hopkinton Rotary Club Community Calendar where the theme will be BARNS. This is the 11th year of creating a calendar from local area artists that reflect their talents and provide the opportunity to raise funds for our community. The definition of a Barn is strictly up to the artist. It could be an old weathered or new barn, small or big, inside or out with or without animals and people. Just say it is Barn and we will agree. We are looking for paintings, photography and pen and ink artwork to be submitted and juried for selection into the Hopkinton Rotary Community Art Calendar. You do not need to be a Hopkinton Resident to enter.
If you are interested please contact Bruce Salsbury at 224-8689 or bsalsb@cs.com. We will need your finished artwork unframed and unmatted by September 1st to allow us to scan or photograph it and return to you for matting and framing. Jury selection for the calendar months will be by September 15th. There will be an Art Show premiering the calendars in October with the artwork for sales.
